Why is Monaco Still on the F1 Calendar?
The Monaco Grand Prix is one of most iconic races and is among the most famous for opposing reasons. The track is narrow, and overtaking is nearly impossible, often making the races processional, provided when it rains where it often throws surprise.
Monaco often is seen as one of the most prestigious to win, given its difficult to race, very easy to crash and that would change the results of the race dramatically.
The glitz and glamour of the event, paired with its breathtaking scenery, make it a crown jewel in motorsport. Winning Monaco is as much about skill as it is about precision. Love it or hate it, Monaco remains a symbol of F1’s heritage.
On 14th November 2024, FIA announced that Monaco Grand Prix will remain on the Formula 1 calendar until 2031. This has been quite a debate among the fans, who are divided on the existence of the Monaco GP.
Drivers to love to race here, and there is a lot of flamboyance to this place, the principality is the place that Charles Lecrec calls home.
